Related Services | Children and Family Services is dedicated to the protection of abused, neglected, and dependent children in San Bernardino County and the promotion of their well being. Children and Family Services values and depends on the collaboration with community agencies and private citizens to protect our county's children. Working within its mission, Children and Family Services respects the dignity, integrity and uniqueness of each family and adheres to the philosophy that intervention is warranted only when children are found to be at substantial risk. In instances where a child can be safely protected in his or her own home through the provision of services or other assistance to the child's family, such an alternative is preferable to foster care placement. | | |
