The San Bernardino County Museum will be open from 9 am to 5 pm on Memorial Day Monday, May 29. The museum is usually closed on Monday.
At the museum, visitors will enjoy four special exhibits: “If Buckets Could Talk: tales from the history collections,” “Head to Toe: hats and shoes in the museum collections,” “Salton Sea: lost lakes and salt dreams,” and “Hanging with the Staff.” The museum’s permanent exhibits present local history, anthropology, geology, paleontology, and biological sciences in a regional context.
The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 (adult), $5 (student or senior), and $4 (child aged 5 to 12).
