National Police Week a time to honor and thank the brave men and women in law enforcement

It’s National Police Week. Please join me in recognizing and thanking our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line for the safety and protection of our communities. This week, we remember and honor our men and women in blue who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

On Tuesday, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Sheriff John McMahon sat down for an interview with SEBA to discuss the attempted murder of Hesperia Deputy Dustin Whitson, and what happens when an officer is shot in the line of duty. McMahon said that Deputy Whitson survived thanks to the quick thinking of everyone on the scene that day.

"We will continue to do everything we can to take good care of the communities we serve," said McMahon. Watch the video.

Thank you to our brave men and women in law enforcement who do an incredible job each and every day protecting our residents. We support you, and thank you, for all you do!
