San Bernardino County 5th District Supervisor JoeBaca, Jr. is happy to announce that in honor of Women’s History Month, he willbe honoring phenomenal unsung women at his upcoming virtual event “SheRoes ofthe 5th District” on March 18th at 6pm. Thewomen were selected from throughout the community for their accomplishments intheir respective fields and for their dedication to improving the lives ofothers.
These are the 2021 SheRoesrecipients of the 5th:

SanBernardino County Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. in partnership with theCity of Rialto, Community Action Partnership of SanBernardino County, and the Zakat Foundation of America will host a Community FoodDrive Thru on Saturday, March 27th from 9am to 12pm at the RialtoCity Hall located at 150 S. Palm Ave.
Supervisor Baca, Jr. will be donating 1,000free food boxes and resources on a first come, first served basis with noregistration needed.
Other partners for this event include: NeverStop Grinding Impact, Sahaba Initiative, Smile America, Food Pantry, and SistasMaking a Difference.

In honor of Earth Day, Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. will behosting two community clean-up events on Saturday, April 17th. One clean-event will be at Kessler Park inBloomington from 9am-12pm and one clean-up event will be in Muscoy on thecorner of 5th Ave. and Cajon Blvd. from 8:30am-12pm.
We need your help to make these events a success! Pleasejoin us as a volunteer to help beautify our communities! We will be signing-offfor those looking to do community service hours so invite your service clubs!If you and/or your organization are interested in joining, please email roxanna.gracia@bos.sbcounty.gov.
