of the five Workforce Investment Board Committees. Click on a

Contracts and Performance
Committee
Oversees procurement (RFP's), makes
recommendations on the allocation of WIA funds, and oversees performance of
local employment and training activities and the One-Stop system.
Additionally, the committee oversees the Department of Labor WtW funds,
including expenditures and funding allocations. Committee meets on the
3rd Wednesday of the month at 2:30 p.m.

Economic Development Committee
Oversees analysis of the local labor market to ensure meeting workforce
needs of current and new employers. Committee meets on the 1st
Monday of the month at

Fiscal Committee
Oversees WIA fiscal
operations, reviewing contract proposals and administrative budgets.

Business Resource
Committee
Responsible for policies related to the One-Stop system and for ensuring
the comprehensive and integrated provision of required services. The
Committee meets on the 3rd Wednesday of

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consists of the
Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson, the Fiscal Committee Chairperson, the
chairperson of each standing committee, the immediate past Chairperson, any
WIB member that is currently serving on the State of California or National
Workforce Board, and the Secretary who shall be a non-voting member.
Currently the Executive Committee meets on the first Monday of the month at
4:30 p.m.

Youth Council
Develops
portions of the Strategic Plan relating to youth, coordinates youth
activities and makes recommendations on grants and contracts to serve
