Disability Benefits at 18: Disability benefit program rules may change when you turn 18, so this birthday marks an important transition. Turning 18 may also bring other changes, like moving out of the house, getting a job, or going to college. You will need to understand how all of these changes can affect your disability benefits so that you can plan ahead.
