Welcome to the San Bernardino County Storm Water Program web site, your source for news and information on local governments’ efforts to reduce storm water pollution.

Storm water pollution from urban runoff is a serious public health risk and the single biggest environmental threat to the quality of our rivers, lakes and local waterways. We hope you find this site useful and informative, and we welcome your feedback. Send your comments and suggestions to StormWaterInfo@dpw.sbcounty.gov. Together, we can prevent storm water pollution and keep our communities safe and clean.

Household hazardous waste and oil recycling

This features a list of collection sites where you can take old paint, pesticides, batteries, solvents and other hazardous items to be recycled, and links to find the nearest certified oil recycling collection center where you can recycle used motor oil.

Pollution reporting

Help report illegal dumping, clogged catch basins or other pollution problems. Just complete and submit this fast and easy online form.

Educational materials

Review and download informative fact sheets, brochures, posters, radio commercials and more. These educational materials feature simple storm water pollution prevention tips and guidelines for residents and businesses.

This is a resource section for city and county representatives.
