The Sheriff's Food Services Division - serves approximately 19,200 meals every day. That's about 7,477,825 meals a year. In addition, this division prepares food for Search and Rescue, Volunteer Forces, and the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
The Health Services Division is responsible for providing heathcare to over 6,000 inmates throughout the county. Services begin at booking and continue until the inmate is released from custody. Every year the inmate population we serve is getting older, sicker and more difficult to treat. The division works closely with the Departments of Behavioral Health and Public Health, as well as the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
