General Plan Timeline

The General Plan will link our community vision with the County’s ongoing decisions about physical and economic development. Every city and county in California is required by law to have a General Plan for its future development.

Updating the General Plan and related activities such as revising the County Development Code, preparing and updating community plans and preparing an Environmental Impact Report will take approximately three years, with completion anticipated in the fall of 2006.
