The General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) includes a cross section of community members from across the County. The Board of Supervisors appointed the fourteen members at the beginning of the General Plan process. They:
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of the public outreach program
- Provide feedback to the planning team and County staff on recommended goals, objectives and policies and recommended land use, circulation and other planning implementation programs.
- Provide continuing assessment of County expectations, traditions, and values.
- Identify key stakeholders
- Refine the draft area vision statements, provide comments, and summarize for Board consideration and/or adoption.
