General Plan Advisory Committee

The General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) includes a cross section of community members from across the County. The Board of Supervisors appointed the fourteen members at the beginning of the General Plan process. They:

  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of the public outreach program
  • Provide feedback to the planning team and County staff on recommended goals, objectives and policies and recommended land use, circulation and other planning implementation programs.
  • Provide continuing assessment of County expectations, traditions, and values.
  • Identify key stakeholders
  • Refine the draft area vision statements, provide comments, and summarize for Board consideration and/or adoption.

GPAC meetings are open to the public and all residents are invited to attend. The GPAC meets:
