Agua Mansa Cemetery Burials Search Help

This database contains names and dates for those buried at the Agua Mansa Cemetery.  For many burials, it includes inscriptions from burial markers and marker images.  Information in this database was collected from the burial markers and from a variety of associated documents.

Queries of the Cemetery database operate by searching records for any string of characters entered in the Search Terms box.  Search terms are not case sensitive.

Search Term - If searching for a person or family name, enter one name. (Enter Rodriguez, not Julia Rodriguez.)
Example:  Entering the term Rodriguez will return all records that contain that term in any of the data fields.  Entering 1873 will return all records where the Birth Date and/or Death Date is 1873.

Partial Terms may be entered in the Search Term box.  Example:  Entering the string Hern will return records of Hernandes and Hernandez.  This feature is helpful when you are uncertain about the spelling of a name.

Multiple Terms may be entered in the Search Term box, separated by a space.  Example: Entering Lopez 1925 will return the burial record for Maria B. Lopez, who died in 1925. (This is an "AND" search).

SEARCH RESULTS:
To Narrow the Search, you may view the results of the first search, then reenter more exact terms in the Search Term box and perform a second search.
To Sort the retrieved data, single-click on a column heading.  To reverse the sort, click again on the column heading.
To Retrieve further details for a record, click on the word Details and a detail page will open. If there is an inscription on the burial marker, that information will be displayed.  To see an image of the burial marker, if one is available, click the thumbnail image field to open a full image page.

SEARCHABLE AGUA MANSA CEMETERY BURIAL FIELDS INCLUDE:
Last Name = The last name of the person buried.  If the name is not clear on the marker, there may be more than one possible spelling listed.
First Name = The first name of the person buried.  If the name is not clear on the marker, there may be more than one possible spelling listed.
Year Born = The year this person was born.  When more than one year is displayed, it is because differing years were found on the marker and in associated records.
Year Died = The year this person died.  When more than one year is displayed, it is because differing years were found on the marker and in associated records.

DETAIL FIELDS INCLUDE:
Section = Section of the cemetery in which the burial is located.
Row = Row within the section in which the burial is located.
Marker = Marker number in the row in which the burial located.
Grave Marker Inscription = Inscription as it appears on the grave marker.  The pipe character "|" indicates a line separation in the inscription on the marker.
Image = Thumbnail images of the grave marker.  Click the thumbnail image to open a larger image.
Map Location = Coordinates of the location on the aerial map image.
Map = Aerial map image with gridlines and labels.  Click to open.

NOTE:
The online database only represents all burials that have been identified at the Agua Mansa Cemetery. Some grave sites are not identifiable. Researchers should direct questions concerning this information to the curatorial staff for more complete information. Also note that electronic collections data are only proxies for actual objects.
