Museums play a vital role in our childrens education and our communities quality of life, said Melissa Russo, director of the San Bernardino County Museum, which oversees the Victor Valley Museum. Please join us to celebrate the legacy of mining in our region and to enjoy California Bling!
California Bling! showcases some of the most sparkly, glittering, and colorful minerals and gemstones in the county museum collections. Most of the specimens were collected in California and many come from mines that once operated throughout the Mojave Desert.
