Museum Director to Lead Gallery Walk
Visitors to the San Bernardino County on Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. will have an opportunity to gain special insights into the museum’s world-famous bird and egg collections when Museum Director Robert McKernan offers a peek at the Biological Sciences Division’s ornithology collections. The program is included in paid museum admission.
The gallery walk will include a behind-the-scenes tour of the ornithology research collections and discussions about the significance of these avian collections to science, conservation, and global awareness of biodiversity. A tour of the Life in the Air Gallery and previews of plans for new exhibits in the bird halls will also be included in this program.
