From fire fighters to police officers, meet the people who keep us safe at the San Bernardino County Museum on Saturday, May 13. This annual event, held in the museum’s parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is free to the public. Ladder trucks, ambulances, motorcycles, prowl cars, and more will be ready for visitors to explore, and safety professionals from guide dog trainers to firefighters will explain their specialized jobs and answer questions. Guests who would like to add a visit to the museum exhibits will be admitted to the museum at half price.

The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular admission of $6 (adult), $5 (student or senior), and $4 (child aged 5 to 12) will be half-price on Saturday, May 13.
