Lights, Sirens, Safety at the County Museum

From fire fighters to police officers, meet the people who keep us safe at the San Bernardino County Museum on Saturday, May 13. This annual event, held in the museum’s parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is free to the public. Ladder trucks, ambulances, motorcycles, prowl cars, and more will be ready for visitors to explore, and safety professionals from guide dog trainers to firefighters will explain their specialized jobs and answer questions. Guests who would like to add a visit to the museum exhibits will be admitted to the museum at half price.

Participating organizations (unless called away on an emergency) will include:

• San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department

• San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Search & Rescue

• San Bernardino County Fire Department

• San Bernardino County Probation Department

• American Medical Response

• California Highway Patrol

• California Department of Fish and Game

• California State Parks

• San Bernardino City Unified School District Police
