|County Museum Open on Columbus Day
The San Bernardino County Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Columbus Day Monday, October 10. The museum is usually closed on Mondays.
While at the museum, visitors can see three special exhibits. “First Weapons: The Art of Hunting Game” in the Hall of History is a special exhibit in the Native American Traditions series, sponsored in part by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. “Beaded Treasures” features beaded objects from the Victorian era to the late 1920s, including three vintage dresses from the museum’s costume collection. In the Fisk gallery, the Fine Arts Institute’s Annual Open art exhibition shows works by Southern California artists.
