Experience History with Old-Fashioned Games and Chores

Come with us back to the 1880s as we recreate children's household chores and play old-time games. The Museum's courtyard will be filled with activity stations where students will work and play like in the days of California's early statehood. Wash and iron clothes, clean house, and use hand tools. All activities are included with admission price. Reservations include pre- and post-program activities.

"1880s at Work and Play" meets History/Social Sciences standards in grades 3-5 and is just plain fun for students and their chaperones. Click here for dates.
