Runs the first Monday of the month for two weeks, closes on Saturday at 4 pm.

LIBRARY BAZAAR

Save the date!  September 11th for the Library's fundraising Bazaar from 9 am - 2 pm --proceeds go to the Yucaipa Literacy Coaliton and Friends of the Library.

Friends of the Library members are invited to Bazaar Pre-sale on Friday Sept. 10 -10-12 pm. 

Donations of New and gently used items are now being accepted.  PLEASE No TV's. computers or clothing.   Items can be brought to the library or call Literacy Office for pick-ups 909-790-3147.

BOOK DROPS

The library now has a book drop at the back of the building that is accessible by car.
There is also one at the front of the building.

OPPORTUNITY DRAWING

Library is having an opportunity drawing to be held at the Bazaar on Saturday, September 11th.   Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.

Come by the library to see what you can win and to purchase tickets!

Proceeds go to the Yucaipa Literacy Coaliton and Friends of the Library.

ADULT LITERACY PROGRAM

Free tutoring for adults!  Do you need help with reading, writing and spelling?  Do you want to volunteer as a literacy tutor?  Call the Literacy office for more information 909-790-3147.

TODDLER BOOT CAMP

Exercise Program for walkers up to age 3 and their parents or caregivers.  Every Friday at  11:00 am and Mondays at 3:30 pm.  Call Christa at 790-3146 for more information.  WILL RESUME THE FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 2010

YUCAIPA VALLEY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY

YUCAIPA FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK NOOK

Ongoing book sale, come shop for some great bargains and support the library at the same time!  We now have a children's section.  We are taking donations of CLEAN, gently used current books for our sale.

Preschool Storytime at Starbucks, 1st and Third Wednesdays at 10 AM, 33562 Yucaipa Blvd. Mommy & Me atmosphere!

DVD'S AT THE LIBRARY

The library has new release DVD's for $1.50 for one day and older releases for $1.50 for three days.  Come to the library and check out our collection.  The $1.50 rental fee will go towards purchasing more movies, new materials and fun programming for the library.

BINDER DECORATING

Young Adults--Create a binder that suits your style on Thursday, September 23, 2010 @ 4pm.

MAIL FOR ME CLUB

Come together to make cards for sick children in hospitals in our area, including Loma Linda Children's Hospital, San Bernardino Community Hospital,  San Bernardino Medical Center and Arrowhead Regional Hospital in Colton.
