Clue Me In Books

The Friends of the Library have made available an extensive set of Clue Me In books for school age children. Come in and check them out!


Baby Bounce

Join Ms. Robin every Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. for Baby Bounce. This is a free program designed for toddlers and features fingers plays, music and movement for toddlers (18 months to 3 years) and their caregivers.


After School Cool

Hey Kids! Come join Ms. Robin every Thursday for After School Cool. All school-age children are invited to this free program of stories and craft activity.


Hesperia Brick House

Hey kids! Do you eat, breath and sleep LEGO? Then we want you to join us every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. Come meet other LEGO builders, share building tips and ideas or just show off your latest creation. This program is open to all school age children in grades K - 6th.


Discovery Club

Come join Ms. Robin on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 4:30 p.m. for this new and exciting hands on program, where children will put their science, history and math skills to use.  School age children between the grades of 4th - 6th are welcome.


Readers Theater

Readers Theater is a new program open to children in grades 4th through 6th. 3rd Tuesday of every month at 4:30 p.m.


Sketch, Draw & Paint Club

Have you ever wanted to learn to draw? So do we! Come join us for this fun program as they sketch, draw and paint. School age children 4th through 6th are welcomed to this free program every 4th Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m.


Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library is open to all who wish to support the Hesperia Branch Library. We are always looking for help with book sales, raffles and other activities at our branch! Regular meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 4:30 p.m.


Hi-Dare Adult Literacy Program

The Hesperia Branch Library is recruiting tutors and learners for the Hi-DARE Adult Literacy program. The program is designed to help adults improve their English reading and comprehension skills. If you would like to become involved as either a tutor or learner, please contct the literacy office at 760-947-9727.


4 Teens

Calling all teens! Come join us all month long for schedule activities on Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. Don't miss out on these fun filled activities that all your friends will be talking about.


Hesperia Book Club

ARe you a book lover? Then come join the Friends of the Library Book Club. Read the monthly selection and then join the club on the fourth Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m. for a lively discussion.


Basic Computer Skills

Would you like to learn how to use the computer? Do you want to go beyond your basic computer skills? Basic Computer Skills: MS Word instruction for adults is offered in the computer lab every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Basic Computer Skills: Internet & Email instruction is offered every Friday from 11:00 a.m. to to 1:00 p.m.
