Be a Friend of the Summit Branch Library
Have a little bit of free time? Want to make a difference at your local library? Get involved in your community by becoming a part of the Friends of the Summit Branch Library. The next meeting, open to all interested, is Thursday, December 3rd at 6:30 PM. Meetings are the first Thursday of every month. Contact the branch for further details.

BOOK SALE
The Friends of the Summit Branch Library have a used book and movie sale that is open during all pubic hours of operation. Every book is a bargain. The Friends also accept donations of materials to either be added to the collection or sold with all proceeds going towards the library.

Volunteer Orientation and Workshop
Interested In Volunteering at Summit Library?
- All interested volunteers should plan to attend an orientation
- A variety of jobs and tasks will be covered
- Flexible schedule
- Fulfills volunteer requirements
- Looks great on college and job applications
The orientation will be held at Summit Branch Library. The next orientation will be held on Monday, January 25th @ 4:00pm. Please plan to attend at this time if you are interested in volunteering.

Off the Shelf Book Club
Come join the Summit Branch Library's "Off the Shelf" Book Club.
Meetings include snacks, refreshments and stimulating conversation. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 19th at 6:30pm. The current book is Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls
