Newton T. Bass Apple
Valley Library
This beautiful
new facility, dedicated on September 20, 2002, is a collaborative
effort and became possible with funding and contributions from
the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, the Town of Apple
Valley, the California State Library, San Bernardino County Library,
the Apple Valley Foundation and through the generosity of the
citizens of Apple Valley. It is the first new San Bernardino County
Library facility constructed for patrons since 1988. The branch
is named in honor of one of the communitys early pioneers
and leading citizens, Newton T. Bass.
