Friday, March 10 at 10:30 all preschoolers are invited to a Green Eggs and Ham breakfast. Preschoolers will be fixing their own ham and eggs breakfast. Lynda Grove, children’s librarian, will be reading the Dr. Seuss classic, Green Eggs and Ham.
Saturday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m. youth of all ages are invited to The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. All the Alice in Wonderland characters will be there to provide games, puzzles and an “Eat Me” – “Drink Me” Tea Party. The Mad Hatter will be at the head of the table making nonsense statements to Alice, The March Hare, The Queen of Hearts and the sleeping dormouse. Youth are requested to dress as their favorite Alice in Wonderland-Through the Looking Glass character. Come as you are and be a dormouse. Awards for the three best costumes. Don’t be late!
Thursday, March 16 at 4:00, the library celebrates Pig Day with guest Jasmine the wonder pig. Jasmine is very friendly and likes to be petted and fed. She also plays soccer. Songs, games and pig dropping cookies and pig pink punch. All ages invited.
Saturday, March 18 at 11:00 a.m. the library will celebrate Women’s History Month with a presentation by Pamela Heiman and Susan Erickson, “Hats Off To Women”. This program will follow women’s history through the ages with antique hats. This will be a fun and informative morning followed by tea and tea sandwiches.
