Live Homework Help
Need help with homework? Check out the Library Home Page and click on the Live Homework Help link to talk with a live tutor. This free online service connects students in 4 th-12 th grades with qualified tutors to receive help with math, science, social studies and English assignments. The service is available seven days a week, from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Preschool Storytime
Continues every Thursday at 11 AM especially for children ages 3 to 5. Come in and find a place on the floor to hear favorite old and new classics in children's literature. Arts and crafts partner with each week's stories.
Join the Yucaipa Valley Friends of the Library
The Friends are very active in supporting the library by fundraising to help keep the shelves stocked with the latest material. Contributions can be made in the following ways:
The Friends of the Library bookstore provides support for the Yucaipa Library. Nice, gently used books, videos, and audios are for sale everyday. Open during normal library hours.
A new, Silent Auction begins the first Monday of each month. 25 assorted titles including rare, signed, and first edition volumes of some of your favorite authors as well as beautiful art, travel, and children's books. Proceeds from the Book Nook and the Silent Auction support the Yucaipa Library.
The Yucaipa Literacy Program seeks volunteer tutors to spend 3 hours a week helping an adult improve literacy skills. Contact Literacy Specialist Debbie Seawright at 790-3147 to schedule a free training appointment.
Free Tutoring for Adults

Shades of Yucaipa
The Shades of Yucaipa is a historical presentation and slide show on the history of the Yucaipa Valley. It is presented in cooperation with the Yucaipa Valley Historical Society each month on the third Thursday at 6:30 pm in the Library Meeting Room. The programs are free and usually last about an hour. All are welcome.
