Grand Terrace Friends of the Library
The Grand Terrace Branch Friends of the Library meet the third Tuesday of every month from 2-4pm, except July and December, in the Civic Center Foyer (next to the library).

The Grand Terrace Friends of the Library have an on-going booksale inside the library.  They have two annual booksales:

  • Grand Terrace Country Fair (1st Saturday in November)
  • Grand Terrace Days (1st Saturday in June)

The Grand Terrace Friends of the Library have reinstituted their silent auctions. Each auction offers 10-12 rare and unusual books that the public can bid on.

Book Donations
The Grand Terrace Branch Library is enthusiastic regarding item donations of books, videos & DVDs, books-on-tape, paperbacks, etc in good, clean condition. Some of these items we can add to our collection---while others will be included in the Grand Terrace Friends of the Library Booksales and in the library “Book Nook.” Donations will be evaluated, and those meeting the County Library Selection Policy guidelines will be added to the branch collection. All others will be given to the Friends Bookstore

  • Donations should be in good, clean condition
  • Donations are accepted Monday-Thursday in the Library
    (Please no weekend donations)
  • Tax receipts are given for donations presented at the library front desk
  • Donations can be dropped in the “Donation Bookdrop” in the Civic Center foyer
  • Donations are the ultimate recycling program!!! Because everybody benefits and everybody wins from the access to literature and the potential to enhance our library collection!
