The County of San Bernardino Office of Legislative Affairs is
responsible for the oversight, analysis, and coordination of all
federal and state legislation on behalf of the Board of Supervisors.
Any legislation that affects the County of San Bernardino or any of
its constituent groups is managed through this office by our County
advocates in Sacramento and Washington D.C.
The Office of Legislative Affairs coordinates the introduction of
proposed legislation to benefit the County, reviews bills and
amendments in both the California state legislature and in the U.S.
Congress, and provides analysis regarding the impact of proposed
legislation on the County. Additionally, the Director of Legislative
Affairs will offer recommendations and analysis of proposed
legislation to achieve the objectives of the San Bernardino County
Legislative Platform.
