Mission Statement

To ensure an effective system of quality patient care and coordinated emergency medical response by planning, implementing and evaluating an effective emergency medical services system including fire department and public ambulances, prehospital providers and hospitals, including specialty care hospitals, such as trauma and cardiac care hospitals.


EMS Management Information & Surveillance System (EMS MISS)


Emergency Medical Services Management Information & Surveillance System (EMS MISS) is ICEMA’s EMS data collection program. 


EMS MISS is collecting approximately 28,000 EMS runs per month utilizing the ImageTrend software (ePCR) from 39 EMS prehospital providers in Inyo, Mono and San Bernardino counties.  ICEMA is working with the 6 remaining new providers on ImageTrend implementation.
