Mission Statement

To ensure an effective system of quality patient care and coordinated emergency medical response by planning, implementing and evaluating an effective emergency medical services system including fire department and public ambulances, prehospital providers and hospitals, including specialty care hospitals, such as trauma and cardiac care hospitals.

Due to ICEMA's relocation, phone service wil be unavailable on Friday, January 27, 2012, beginning at 12:01 pm (noon) and is expected to be restored on Monday, January 30, 2012, at 8:00 am.  In case of an emergency, please contact Paul Easterling, EMS Specialist, via e-mail at ICEMADutyOfficer@cao.sbcounty.gov.

Effective December 15, 2011, ICEMA will change its Certification/Accreditation hours. This change is necessary to allow staff adequate time to complete administrative functions prior to close of business.
