Additional Supplemental Term Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance benefits may be purchased voluntarily.

Through Minnesota Life, the County provides a Basic Life Insurance benefit which offers your beneficiaries valuable financial protection in the event of your death. Eligibility for Basic Life Insurance is governed by your Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Exempt Compensation Plan, salary ordinance, or contract (employee only coverage).
