Health Club Membership

Offering reduced rate fitness memberships is part of the County’s commitment to help you stay well and maintain a healthier lifestyle.  Employees are eligible for a health club membership at a reduced rate at any 24 Hour Fitness facility.  County employees who already have a non-County membership are eligible to have monthly dues reduced to the County’s rate. Exempt employees are eligible for an annual pre-paid membership to 24 Hour Fitness or reimbursement of membership in another health club up to $324.

24-Hour Fitness

24 Hour Fitness has many facilities in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, including desert locations and over 60 clubs in Southern California. 24 Hour Fitness offers members:

• Weight training
• Cardiovascular equipment
• Group exercise classes
• Kid's Club
• And much more

Here are the applicable fees:

Upon initial enrollment, employees will be responsible for immediate payment of first and last months’ dues, plus any add-on fees. Monthly dues are paid thereafter by electronic funds transfer (EFT). Employees must provide proof of County employment and memberships may be canceled at any time with adequate notice as described in the employee’s 24 Hour Fitness membership agreement.

LA Fitness

LA Fitness has many facilities in San Bernardino, Riverside, and Los Angeles Counties. LA Fitness provides members with the added benefit of knowing, regardless of which facility they use, that the features and amenities are identical. LA Fitness offers members:

• Indoor heated lap pool, whirlpool spa and saunas
• State-of-the-art equipment and Cardio area
• Group fitness classes
• Kid's Klub (babysitting)
• And much more

You must contact EBSD at 909-387-5787 or via email at mhm@hr.sbcounty.gov  to receive a voucher number prior to enrolling at a LA Fitness facility.

Memberships may be canceled at any time, subject to the notice requirements described in the employee’s LA Fitness membership agreement.
