At Your Service Community Resource Fair

The County of San Bernardino At Your Service Resource Fair has been designed to help residents better connect with programs and services provided by the County that can improve the quality of their lives. This all day event is the first of its kind for the County and will offer free games, demonstrations and services for children, adults, and seniors.

Human Resources is taking an active role in this event by offering two workshops covering four topics which are "Staying Competitive in Today's Job Market and Preparing for the Economic Recovery" and "Interviewing Skills and Dressing To Impress". The Staying Competitive in Today's Job Market and Preparing for the Economic Recovery workshop provides an overview on how to stay competitive within the workforce through today's challenging economy and prepare for a successful future when the economy recovers. The Interviewing Skills and Dressing to Impress workshop provides detailed insight into the interview process and how to dress to impress for an interview or in the workplace.

Human Resources is also pleased to present "Impressions", a fashion seminar that brings information covered in the Dressing to Impress Workshop to life. The Impressions Fashion Seminar will be full of fun, flair and information providing viewers with a visual representation of what is considered to be appropriate and inappropriate workplace attire. These tips are useful for any job seeker that is looking to enter the workforce, move up in their current workplace, or make a career change.

Additionally, Human Resources will have an information booth onsite where staff will be available to answer any questions the community may have about the County application process, current employment opportunities, and employee benefits.
