The San Bernardino County Crime Lab was recently re-landscaped by the County’s Facilities Management Department to be more efficient with their water usage. They began with the removal of all old hedges and shrubs, and replaced them with water-saving plants. Facilities Management swapped the sprinkler system for a drip system, cutting the water usage from 174,720 gallons annually down to 9,308 gallons annually.
