| Motorcycle Basic Academy Training | Intended Audience: Law Enforcement | ||||
| Equipment Requirements: Officers may utilize their own agencys motorcycle or rent a training motorcycle. Payment for motor rentals is due upfront ($1000.00). Prerequisites: Basic P.O.S.T certification, full-time Peace Officer, possession of a valid drivers license with motorcycle endorsement, permits not acceptable. Dress Code: Jumpsuit or Class B approved boots, soles less than 3/4 in., D.O.T. and Snell approved motorcycle helmet, leather gloves, safety glasses, and rain gear. Certification: This course is certified by P.O.S.T. T.R.R. forms must be submitted on the first day of class. (P.O.S.T. Plan IV)Tuition is direct-billed to P.O.S.T. for P.O.S.T. reimbursable agencies. Motorcycle Rental: $700.00 - (limited number available)Rental must be paid before start of class. Agency responsible for motor rental cost. Make check payable to: SBSD-EVOC. Mail payment to: San Bernardino County Sheriff- EVOC, P.O. Box 9037, San Bernardino, CA 92427.
