DeeDee Ladika began her law enforcement career in 1985 with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department in the Communications division.  In 1987 she transferred to the Riverside Police Department. During her service to the Riverside Police Department she worked in special assignments which included, communications, patrol, vice, Training Division as a Field Training Officer and the Police Aviation Unit.  She has her Intermediate P.O.S.T. Certificate.

DeeDee is currently attending and completing her Associates of Science Degree in Criminal Justice at the Riverside City college.

DeeDee joined the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department as a Training Specialist I in Auguest of 1999, where she is a Driving Instructor in Emergency Vehicle Operations as well as a Driving Simulator Instructor.

DeeDee is an Instructor for the Driver Awareness, Advanced Defensive Driving, Pursuit Intervention Technique, Teen Survival Driving, Fire Truck & Ambulance Training, 24 hour Basic Academy as well as the 8 Hour Update Classes.
