Toolbox
Welcome to the Fruit, Vegetable, and Physical Activity Toolbox for Community Educators! The Network for a Healthy California--Latino Campaign developed the Toolbox so that you and other community educators can easily teach low-income Latino adults about eating the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables and engage in physical activity every day. Each item in the Toolbox was tested with the Latino community and other intermediaries to make sure it fits the culture and language. Although the Toolbox is geared toward Latino adults, many of the components can be used with children and other adult audiences.Organizations not serving California's low-income families may download every component of the "Toolbox" on the web page.

Principal funding is from the USDA Food Stamp Program through the Network for a Healthy California, which is an initiative of the California Department of Public Health. These institutions are equal opportunity providers and employers. The Food Stamp Program provides nutrition assistance to people with limited incomes that can help them buy nutritious foods for a better diet. For information, call 1-888-328-3483.
