San Bernardino County Department of Public Health Nutrition Program
Food Service/Restaurants

The Network for a Healthy California—Children’s
Power Play!
Campaign encourages schools and
communities to work together to motivate and
empower children to eat fruits and vegetables and
be physically active.  Restaurants and food service operations can offer
fruit and vegetable focused tours, guest speakers, and fruit and vegetable donations to schools and youth organizations; offer a selection of healthy, affordable fruits and vegetables on your children’s and adult menus; and conduct contests and giveaways focused on fruits and vegetables and physical activity.

If you are a restaurant manager or food service operation and would like to support our Campaign, please fill out the Partnership Interest Form to see how we can work together.

Principal funding is from the USDA Food Stamp Program through the Network for a Healthy California, which is an initiative of the California Department of Public Health. These institutions are equal opportunity providers and employers. The Food Stamp Program provides nutrition assistance to people with limited incomes that can help them buy nutritious foods for a better diet. For information, call 1-888-328-3483.
