And join forces with other Children’s Power Play! Campaign partners to encourage more low-income families to visit the farmers’ market.

Partnering with local farmers’ markets is a great
way to encourage the consumption of fresh fruits
and vegetables, support our local farmers, and
teach kids about where their food comes from. 
Some ways that farmers’ markets can help to
support the Children’s Power Play! Campaign are:

Principal funding is from the USDA Food Stamp Program through the Network for a Healthy California, which is an initiative of the California Department of Public Health. These institutions are equal opportunity providers and employers.
