California Bone Health Campaign for Low-Income Latino Mothers
Motivates Latino mothers to improve their family’s health and reduce the risk of osteoporosis through regular consumption of 1% milk and other food sources high in calcium. The campaign uses the promotora or peer leader model to empower community members to serve as health advocates in their communities.
