Tom Herrin is the County Surveyor. He is licensed in the state of California as a Professional Land Surveyor and has worked for the County of San Bernardino Surveyor’s office since 2000. He has worked with all aspects of the County Surveyor’s Office, serving most recently as the Chief of the Field Division from 2010-2012, and as Chief of the Mapping Division from 2008-2010. He is active within the profession of Land Surveying outside of his duties at the County with the California Land Surveyors Association and is currently serving as the vice-chair for the League of California Surveying Organizations. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside and extensive continuing education in the Land Surveying and GIS fields.
