Community Awareness

The Traffic S.A.F.E. program
participates in community health
and safety fairs, conferences and
presentations to promote traffic
safety awareness; and collaborates
with community agencies,
businesses and law enforcement
to conduct community check-up
events.

Partners In Traffic Safety

A variety or the following community based organizations
partner with Public Health to provide traffic safety
education classes and public awareness activities in
diverse communities throughout the county:

	Bear Valley Health Care District
	Asian-American Resource Center
	Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Desert
	Boys Scouts of America, Inland Empire Counsel
	High Desert Child, Adolescent, Family Services Center
	Libreria del Pueblo

Traffic Action Safety Task Force
A coalition of public, private non-profit and law enforcement
agencies whose goal is to promote traffic safety; and to
reduce the incidence of traffic related deaths and injuries to
children in San Bernardino County. The coalition meets
each month and welcomes the public to attend.
