Hector the Vector Detector presentation for 5th grade students
San Bernardino County Environmental Health Services offers an education program to teach students about the life cycles and biology of certain insects and rodents that can cause harm and/or carry disease to people in this county. Our staff is available to come to your school for a 60-minute classroom presentation which includes discussion of mosquitoes, flies, rats and 10-minute video.
Prior to the presentation, a teacher guide will be sent so the teacher may prepare the students, if he wishes. Each student will receive a student book and pencil at the presentation.
