destruction of wells
bullet Review/approve sewage disposal reports to
protect underground water source
bullet Inspect/permit liquid waste pumpers (such as septic tank pumpers)
bullet Evaluate/comment on Environmental Impact Reports
bullet Ensure environmental health considerations (such as water, waste disposal, noise, vectors and protection of natural resources) are included in development projects
bullet Provide environmental health input to various County committees, including the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors
