Sand Sculpture Contest Lake Gregory Regional Park Use your creative talents and create a masterpiece in the sand at the Sand Sculpture Contest Sunday, August 31st. 6th Annual ARMC Health and Safety Fair As part of a continuing effort to improve the health and safety of residents throughout San Bernardino County, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center will hold its sixth annual FREE health and safety fair for children and adults on Saturday, September 27th. All residents are invited to take advantage of extensive free health screenings, which include physician consultations. Green County San Bernardino The Board of Supervisors has adopted a series of measures to help residents, businesses, and the county itself reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce waste, and make better use of natural resources. Extreme Heat In response to the extreme heat projected for San Bernardino County, the county is encouraging residents to exercise caution. Tips on coping with the heat and heat-related health issues can be found here. A list of 66 cooling stations throughout the county, where residents can go to escape the heat, can be found here. Residents are urged to call 911 for heat-related health emergencies, and 211 for additional information on how to beat the heat.
