DBH contracts with Telecare Corp. of Alameda, CA to provide 24/7
community-based clinical interventions and support for mentally ill
consumers who were formerly residents of IMDs, state hospitals, and ABCs.
The goal of the program is to promote recovery, maintain its members in
the community, and decrease the need for acute care hospitalization.
Referrals are made only through the Adult Residential Services Clinic

Therapeutic Alliance Pilot Project

TAPP provides residential drug abuse treatment and mental health
services for San Bernardino County residents with these co-occurring
disorders. the TAPP team delivers mental health and case management
services in a collaborative effort with the staff at Cedar House, a
residential substance abuse treatment program. TAPP receives referrals
from hospitals and other community facilities. TAPP services are focused
on clients who commit to leaving a lifestyle of substance abuse and to
moving forward with treatment on their behavioral health issues. TAPP
places graduates from this three-month program into sober living homes and
provides follow-up work with the graduates to lessen the chance of relapse
or re-hospitalization.

TAY provides placement and case-management services for children
who are about to become eighteen (18) years of age. It coordinates with the
transition from child to adult services and assists in adjusting to the
new adult environment.
