Program
Manager III for
Energy Conservation/Weatherization Program.
Supplemental Application |
Under general direction, plan, organize, direct and
supervise through subordinate staff a comprehensive Energy, Education and
Environmental Services Program (EEES) to increase the energy efficiency
and safety of dwellings occupied by low-income residents. The EEES Program
is a challenging and comprehensive program containing multiple components
which include weatherization, energy education, appliance repair and
replacement, solar energy projects, lead hazard control, and a
weatherization training center. The operating budget for EEES is
approximately $11-15 million annually with a staff of 94 full-time
employees. Work includes planning, organizing, directing and
managing all day-to-day operations of the EEES Program, as well as program
planning and development; determining program goals and objectives;
preparing, justifying and managing program budgets and effective use of
financial, material and human resources. Work is performed with
considerable latitude for independent decisions regarding programmatic
issues. |

Weatherization
Crew Technician |
Under supervision, the incumbents will perform such duties
as: conduct combustion appliance safety
checks and blower door tests; install vents and insulate attics,
weatherstrip / caulk, repair or replace doors and windows; install glass,
water heater blankets and storm windows; perform other minor home repairs
incidental to weatherization; properly complete and maintain all client
forms and files on a per-home basis; utilize and maintain proper inventory
control procedures. |

Outreach
Specialist |
Under general supervision, the incumbents will perform such duties
as: Perform outreach and intake functions and certify client eligibility
for the Utility Company Contracts, LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy
Assistance Program) and Department of Energy Contracts; perform
residential assessments to include accurately measuring doors, windows,
attics and determining amount/type of weatherization measures to be
installed; prepare and maintain client related forms, files and records on
an individual basis; assist clients in completing various required
application forms; provide information and referral services to clients;
attend funding source meetings, training and seminars as required;
perform other related duties as required. |
