Agency Description:

This agency offers an two-step program: Step 1 is a 30 to 90 day in-house shelter program servicing five families at a time with case-management, budgeting and life skills/parenting education classes, mental health services, career development and a parallel learning and school readiness program for the children. Step 2 is a 21-month subsidized transitional housing program for families who have successfully completed Step 1. Families receive all of the above services at a less intense rate while continuing to save their income for first time home ownership and other necessities for a successful life.

Program: Shelter and Transitional Housing Programs

Program Description: This program offers 30 to 90 days in-house temporary homeless shelter followed by 21 months transitional housing for families with children under age 18 years. The family will have the opportunity to engage in case management, budgeting, life skill classes, employment program, mental health services and a children's program. There are 61 beds available for these programs
