Although the Food Bank program cannot address all the hunger needs of clients, its intent is to provide supplemental food items that will raise the nutritional level of low-income families.

A volunteer force of approximately 750 individuals assist in all aspects of the operation:  loading and unloading of delivery trucks, packing and transporting of foods, and screening clients for eligibility.  The program could not operate without these dedicated volunteers.
