Lead Abatement Program-
"Providing a Lead Free Environment for Children"

 

Lead Free Environment for ChildrenLead hazard reduction services are available to homeowners and tenants living in low to moderate income housing with children under six (6) years old. These services may also be used by landlords who rent out to low to moderate income households with children under six (6) years old. These include single or multiple housing units built before 1978 (other restrictions may apply). Priority is given to families with a child that has an elevated blood lead level.

Our lead hazard reduction services include:

  • Testing of the paint, soil and dust for lead
  • Visual assesment
  • Remodeling or renovation in a safe way to remove, minimize, or contain areas contaminated with lead.
  • Final clearence inspection

All of our staff are trained and certified by the State of California Department of Health Services.
