CAPSBC Programs and ServicesCommunity Action Partnership of San Bernardino
County (CAPSBC)'s responsibility in continuing to wage the war on poverty
is to develop and implement programs that address the most serious needs of
low-income residents of San Bernardino County. CAPSBC currently
administers the following human service programs at not cost to participants:
Food Bank Program
- Provides food for low-income residents throughout San Bernardino County
through government surplus commodity distributions and salvage food agencies. Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) - is a web-based software application that homeless assistance providers use to coordinate service provision, manage their operations, and better serve their clients. Click on this link to find out more about it. Eligibility
Eligibility is based on poverty guidelines established by the federal
government. Due to limited resources, priority is sometimes given to senior
citizens and disabled persons. Certain programs are designated for specific
target groups such as single women with children and homeless families. |
