William Anthony Ruh
Councilmember, City of Montclair

Mr. Ruh was elected a Councilmember for the City of Montclair in 1998.  He serves as member of the City’s Education and Legislative committees and the Community Action Commission.  He is the primary liaison to the Chamber of Commerce and Community Action Committee.  He served on the Planning Commission for ten years.  He was the Board Auditor for the Monte Vista Water District.  He is the Governmental Affairs Director of the Citrus Valley Association of Realtors.

Mr. Ruh served as a consultant for the California State Assembly on the Assembly Select Committee on the Alameda Corridor East.  He is a past Field Representative to Congressman Jay Kim and coordinated Constituent Services for State Assembly Member Fred Aguilar. He has served as the Board of Directors or Committee level for numerous philanthropic and charitable organizations which includes the following:  Ontario-Pomona Association for Retarded Citizens, Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter, Ontario-Montclair YMCA, Arts Foundation of San Bernardino County; Mt. Baldy United Way, Chaffey College Foundation and Upland Assistance League. Mr. Ruh has been a Board member of Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County since 2007.

Mr.  Ruh has a Bachelor of Art in Political Science from the University of La Verne.
