"GO TO MEETING" Technology is now implemented for technical support to HMIS Users
In an effort to better support HMIS users with technical difficulties, HMIS has now implemented the use of "Go to Meeting," an online technology that allows webmeetings/webinars to occur in which attendees interact with one another via audio and video having the capability to share desktops to allow information to be visible, as allowed by either of the parties.
This technology is particularly helpful when used by HMIS's help desk since it allows the technician to see exaclty what the HMIS user is experiencing with their system. The only requirement is that end users be able to connect to the internet. An invitation with a direct link to a go to meeting is sent to invitees making this a very user friendly application.
Users may still contact the HMIS help desk via email as well.
