Children's Programs and Activities

SUMMER CAMP: Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County's Family Development Program, in cooperation with Los Angeles Times, sponsors low-income and homeless children between the ages of 7-13 who have never attended camp. The camp is located in the San Bernardino Mountains where the children enjoy one week of fun activities such as swimming, hiking, fishing, and crafts. Parents must meet the income guidelines administered by the Los Angeles Times Summer Camp Fund to qualify their children.  For more information, contact FDP at (909) 723-1560.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION: The Family Development Program sponsors an annual Christmas party for approximately 600 homeless and low-income children complete with presents, food, entertainment, and a visit from Santa. Volunteers are welcomed - please contact the Family Development Program to provide additional support to this project.
